How long will it take to get my stuff?

How long it takes to receive your items will depend on a couple of factors:

1) Some items are marked "Ships in 2-3 days"; some items are marked "Ships in 1-2 weeks".  This is time it takes from the time we receive your order until the time the product is actually shipped.
2) From the date of shipment, most items will arrive in one week, two at the outside for shipments going to US addresses.

Packages typically arrive within two weeks, however, please take these factors into consideration when calculating package arrival dates.

Only items marked "In stock" are eligible for express shipping.  Please call 1-800-354-5164 or email for details.  Special order items are not available for express shipping.

What credit cards do you accept?

At this time, we currently do not accept credit cards.  We accept only PayPal and personal checks.

Do you accept PayPal?

We can accept PayPal payments.  PayPal allows you to send payments from your account to anyone with an email address.  You can send your PayPal payment to us at pewtergallery@hotmail.com.  Send the information included on the mail order form to the same address.

Why can I only see one item in my shopping cart at a time?

Our site uses cookies in the shopping cart program.  You may need to lower your security level temporarily in order for the cookie to be accepted by your system. (You should raise the security level back to where it was when you leave the site.  We are a small shop and not interested in infecting your system with anything else, but I can't vouch for others.)  We tried a method that would store your cart information on our server only, but it proved to be too confusing to customers, because they could only see one item in their carts at a time until they checked out.

Do you have a print catalogue?

No, we don't have a print catalogue.  The only catalogue available is online.  We have a complete list of all our available items on our Master List page.

Can I order by mail?

If you choose to order by mail, you can get a printable order form at our mail orders page, and send this form to the address listed on the form.   Please allow an extra week for shipping.

Are your goblets safe to drink from?  Don't you need to line pewter with glass to prevent lead-poisoning?

Our goblets are safe to drink from, even the ones that are not glass-lined.  Our products are lead-free unless otherwise noted in the item description.  Please see our "About Pewter" page for more information.

Do you sell antique pewter?

Most of our products are new or one-of-a-kind.  We do not currently handle antique pewter items as a matter of course.  However, if you have pewter items that you are trying to sell and would like to sell these items through our site, please email us at for information on how this might work.  We are not capable of appraising your pieces for you.  If you are looking to buy, what we have is listed in our catalogue.  If it isn't there, you may email us, but understand that we do not currently do search services for particular pieces.

Do you sell wholesale?

We are a retail store.  We do not normally do wholesale sales.

Do you offer discounts for large orders?

We do offer discounts for large orders.  You will need to call our office at 1-800-354-5164 and speak to Ann.  What constitutes large varies, and may depend on the cost of individual items.  What discount is available may vary.  Certainly, orders of more than five-ten copies of one item would be eligible for some discount.  We have supplied many wedding parties with groomsmen's gifts, plays with stage props, and companies with executive gifts.
